Welcome.

Welcome to the Countryside Council for Wales’s Environmental Management ‘mini-site’.  At CCW our aim is to help conserve and enhance the natural treasures of the Welsh countryside for future generations to enjoy.  As you’d expect, therefore, we’re committed to doing all we can to be a ‘green’ organisation ourselves – in fact, we want to be the Welsh Assembly’s exemplar green organisation.

In August 2005 we attained Level 5 of the Green Dragon Environmental Standard – the highest standard in Wales’s flagship management system for environmentally aware businesses – and in September 2005 we attained ISO14001 registration.

On this site you’ll find our Environmental Policy statement as well as our Environmental Systems Manual (EMS) and its associated documents.  All documents on the website are current and up-to-date.  Paper copies printed off are beyond our control and so deemed to be out of date and uncontrolled.

If you have any queries or comments please feel free to contact us.
